1. Title and lien release (if it applies)
2. Notarized bill of sale (if the vehicle is less than 7 years old)
3. Maryland safety inspection
4. Maryland driver’s license or ID card.
5. Valid insurance card for the vehicle are titling
6. A VR-217, lien recording document from the finance company if you are financing the vehicle.
7. Letter of administration and death certificate if the person who owned the vehicle is deceased.
