Temporary tags are good for a maximum of 30 days , temp tags are issued for the purpose of taking the vehicle to get repaired and MD inspected only.

Requirements
- Title and lien release (if it applies)
- Notarized bill of sale (if the vehicle is less than 7 years old)
- Maryland driver’s licenses for all registered owners
- Valid insurance card for the vehicle you are registering
- VR-217 from the finance company if you are financing the vehicle
- Letter of administration and death certificate if the previous owner is deceased
